PS4 VS PC

Lenovo Erazer X315 vs. PlayStation 4 Vs.

Gamers find it a challenge in choosing whether to choose the PC or go with a gaming console in playing their favourite games. Both machines have their advantages in gaming. This article with compare the Lenovo Erazer X315 PC and the PlayStation 4 gaming console. The main processor of the PS4 is a single-chip custom processor and the Central Processing Unit (CPU) has a lower x86-64 AMD “Jaguar”, with 8 cores. The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is a 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD Radeon™ Graphics Core Next engine. This makes graphics loading fast and seamless. As compared to the Play Station 4, the Lenovo Erazer X315 PC comes with a 3.7GHz AMD A10-7850K quad-core processor. It also has a 2GB AMD Radeon R9 260 Graphics card and this combination is perfect for playing 3D games. The PlayStation has a 8 GB GDDR RAM while the Lenovo Erazer X315 PC has an 12 GB PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 MHz. This makes it much faster than the PS4 in booting and gaming while it allows multi-tasking to take place. In terms of storage, the PlayStation 4 has a built in hard disk of 500 GB while the Lenovo Erazer X315 PC has a 2 terabyte hard disk space and an additional 8GB solid state hybrid drive. In terms of capacity, the PC beats the PlayStation hands down since it has more storage. Both machines have an optical drive. However, the optical drive in the PS4 is a read only while the Optical Drive in the PC is a DVD recordable. This provides an advantage since one can be able to copy DVD’s. The PS4 and the PC both provide communication channels via Ethernet and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth in the PS4 is 2.1 EDR while that in the PC is upgraded to version 4.0. The PS4 also comes with HDMI and optical Digital Output for connecting to your television set. The PC also has HDMI ports. To enhance your gaming experience, the PC comes with a 7.1 channel surround sound with Dolby® Advanced Audio™ technology, which eliminates sound distortion, improves frequency response and boosts audio with the volume maximizer. It is also designed with a cutting edge exterior to evoke your gaming instincts. It features blue front-lighting and a one-touch cover door for easy access to ports and the optical drive. Hidden front air vents integrate perfectly with the design, while keeping your system cool. Both the gaming machines are at a close price range. The PC goes for 500$ while the Play Station goes for 450$ in many stores. It is a tough decision on choosing because both insist on gaming quality and offer high performance. It is worth considering though with the PS4, you will need a Television Set to play and for maximum performance. The PC can be upgraded unlike the PS4 and games are installed once as compared to the continued used of DVD’s in the PS4. However, in matters portability and comfort, the Ps4 takes the crown since for the PC, it is stationery while using game pads in the PS4 allows flexibility. The choice is yours.
